Abstract

The advanced dental technology has enabled prosthodontists and general dental practitioners to provide accurate
prosthodontic treatments to patients. The dental articulator is an indispensable tool to enhance the quality of delivered
work and increase patient satisfaction (1). The aim of this review paper is to provide an overview of articulators in
dentistry, particularly in fixed and removable prosthodontics, their different types or classifications, indications,
advantages, and limitations.
